Tesla Coil Agnes (Sept. 1998/99/00) is my 3rd and largest coil. Its taken several years to complete. It stands about 8' tall and the top is roughly 58" in diameter. My other 2 coils were practice to build and understand the concept while "Agnes" was under construction. I've gotten up to 10-12' continuous sparks.

Specs:
- Primary - 16 turns of 1/2" copper tube wound at a 15º angle
- Secondary - 14"dia cardboard sonna tube wound with 42" of #18 magnet wire, approx. 950 turns I think
- Cap - 3 Maxwell military grade oil filled caps equaling .09uf, can you say BIG MONEY $$$$
- Spark Gap - DC Variable up to 3000 rpm Rotating with 4 contact points.
- Transformer - 10KVA 220V Pole Pig, Did the power go out in your neighborhood lately?
- Toroid - 2" x 58" alum tube, should be 12" x 58", Found a 12" x 36" toroid (8/2011) and it seems to be working. Big sparks! Big sparks!
- Output Sparks - so far 8-10'
